Automatic Waste Gate Control

The WasteGate Control software detects waste early and conveniently diverts it. WasteGate Control evaluates waste events. The respective path of the first and last defective print product is tracked from the waste source through the press to the folder delivery. An interface informs the post-press department when to open and close the waste gate for each specific copy. The defective copies are sorted out. Additionally, the operator can define a window before or after the event using pre- and post-windows to divert defective products.
